Miracles by own prayer

“… whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” Jesus quoted, in Matthew 21.22

To be healed and to get other help from God, by one’s own prayer,.. one have to believe that God will help, if God see that it will be good all in all to help,.. or just believe that God will help (in both cases, one have the necessary faith in God).
(One don’t need to know what is naturally to help with,.. it’s just to believe that God will help in the current situation, if God see that’s it good all in all).
If God don’t need to avoid helping in the situation, for the case of something else, He will help.

If one don’t have any faith in help from God,.. then one’s prayer will be without effect (more of the reason for that, further down in the text).

One’s faith in help from God, sets the outer limit, for how much help one can get, how many times one need to pray, and how fast the prayer-answer can come.
If one believe that God normally will give one 10% healing, by one prayer,.. then one normally will get 10% healing by one prayer. If one believe that one normally will get 100% healing by one prayer, then one normally will get 100% healing, by one single prayer.

If one believe that one have to pray 50 times, to be fully healed,.. then one need to pray 50 times before one can get fully healed. If one believe that one normally just need to pray one time to be fully healed, then one normally just need to pray one time to be fully healed.

If one believe that a healing will come gradually over weeks, then a healing will come gradually over weeks. If one believe that a healing normally will come during the day, then a healing normally will come during the day.
If one believe that one normally will get instant healed,.. then one normally will get instant healed.

If one believe that one will get healing for cancer, but noe for the damaged back,.. then one will get healing for the cancer, but can not get healing for the damage back.

If one ask a friend about for instance a glass of water, when one are on visit, then one (normally) just need to ask one time. And God who is pure good, and almighty, how much more will not God help (immediately) with what one ask help for?
A prayer, is just a ordinary talk with God, where one ask for help for something. And God wants things to be well with us. But for God to be able to help one, there must be faith in help from him.

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. Forassuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain (for instance a problem big as a mountain), ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11.22-24

“Jesus said to him,“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9.23

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Jesus quoted, in Matthew 7.7-8

Why does it need to be faith in help from God, before he can help one?

For God to be able to help one, there has to be faith in help from him. Faith is one of the big keys in the bible.
Why does God need this faith to him, to be able to help us? That has something to do with, that without faith, it’s impossible to please God.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11.6

Lack of faith in God, is building on the flesh, which the bible describes as the fallen part of the human (from the fall of man (Genesis 3)), and which therefore “naturally” stands against God,.. where one on that basis, “naturally” lack the faith, which one else naturally would had.
In short; lack of faith in help from God, is a product of the flesh, which again is a product of the fall of man.

“… the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit (The Holy Spirit / God), …” Galatians 5.17

How to pray?

One can ask for help, in a ordinary way.

For instance: “God, I ask that you heal me from cancer”,.. or, “God I pray that you heal me from diabetes”,.. or “Jesus, I pray that you take away my psychological problems, and that you make me whole”,.. and so on…

Or, one can pray the Lords prayer (the prayer Jesus taught his disciples). That prayer cover everything (the things one remember one wants help for, the things one don’t remember, and the things one don’t know one should have help to).

Jesus quoted, in Matthew 6.7-13;
“… when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.”

Reasons why a healing, or other help from God, could come gradually, partially, or not at all at first

That can have different reasons, and the list below is not ment as a complete list of reasons.

-Level of faith in help from God (as cover in the text above), is an important reason, why a healing or other help from God, is coming gradually, partially, og not at all at first.

-Sin can hinder.
For instance, unforgiveness / not willing to forgive someone.

While one are sinning, then the sin easy hinder more or less for help (including if one have decided to to something sinful).

Sinning can also cause other disadvantages for one. For instance, if one choose to live in a sinful way (in one or more areas), then one will get punishment for the sin, if one don’t turn away from it / repent.

So to sin is not only wrong, but also make one’s life less good than it else would be (another later article, will go more into this topic).

“Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”” John 5.14

“… make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed” Hebrews 12.13

About previous sin one have done, one get forgiveness for, if one regret,.. by that Jesus took the punishment for our sins, to buy us free. So previous sin (if one regret), will not hinder healing and help from God.

“Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53.4-5

“That evening they brought to him (Jesus) many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”” Matthew 8.17

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree (the cross), that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2.24

To read about Jesus, who let himself be captive, his dead, and his resurrection, see Mark, chapter 14 – 16.

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Jesus quoted, in Mark 11.25

“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
and whose sins are covered;
blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.” Romans 4.7-8

-If God see that it’s better in total, that a healing and other help, comes gradually, partially, later, or not at all at first, then I guess it will be like that.
For instance it may be, that different situations will give one valuable experiences with regard to help other people.
Or that God wants to train one in one or different others ways.
