“And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.” Luke 6.17-18
“And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute.” Mark 9.17
“And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, “He is dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.” Mark 9.25-27
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” Jesus quoted in, John 14.12
“Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ. And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip, when they heard him and saw the signs that he did. For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was much joy in that city.” Acts 8.5-8
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

Do not be afraid, only believe
«While He (Jesus) was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.”
And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.» Mark 5.35-42
«And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”» Matthew 14.28-31
«And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.» Acts 14.8-10
«But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.” But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.» Acts 28.3-6
«Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.» Luke 18.35-43
«Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you.» Proverbs 4.23-25
«and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.» Hebrews 12.13
«So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.« Jesus quoted in Mark 11.22-24
The bible warns against the alternative (things like new age, mindfulness, reiki healing etc)
As a christian and as an evangelist, I know that the spiritual world is real, and that things like new age, reiki healing, mindfulness, and so on, is not harmless.
The bible describes such things as magic, and is something which involves unclean spirits.
Even if one can get help by these things, one will in total loose on it, and can get one’s life really damaged on it. This because that the power in these things, come from evil spirits (former fallen angels, who where cast out of heaven (see Revaltion 12.9)).
When Jesus walked here on earth, he sat people free who were tormented by such spirits.
And He also gave them who belive in the gospel, power to cast out such evil spirits.
Yoga, which is based on the hinudism, also involves such spirits, and where different positions is designed to worship Hindu gods,.. and different exercises (including breathing techniques) which have been made to open so called energy points in the body, for opening the so called third eye, for entrance to the spiritual world.
Many of the practitioners of such things, don’t understand that they are in contact with evil spirits (but do it in good faith to help others).
«When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.» Deuteronomy 18.9-13
«And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.» Luke 6.17-18
«And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;» Jesus quoted, in Mark 16.17
If one has been more or less involved in the alternative, it’s a good chance that evil spirits has access to damage more or less for one.
Such spirits, can take up residence in one’s body, or in a house (but one can cast them out in the name of Jesus, if faith for that).
They can also connect to one via things one have, which have been used with spiritual exercises, but such connections can probably be broken by getting rid of thoose things.
Different spirits, can torment with different strength, and in different ways.
One can get illnesses, pain, psychological problems, and so on.
To get free from evil spirits, one an be prayed for and laying on of hands, by a christian, for help in the name of Jesus.
«And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.» Jesus quoted, in Mark 16-17-18
